About Spiritual Practices

Spiritual practices help us create space (time, place, intention) for keeping company with Jesus. They are like medicine for the soul. They can help encourage, calm, relax, and enlighten us. Spiritual practices are one of the gateways to developing intimacy with God, which leads to healing and wholeness. 

Ask God for wisdom to discern which practices are best for you. Less is more here. It’s better to choose one or two and work with those until you can determine how effective or helpful they are for you. You can add others and delete the ones that aren’t as helpful as your practice continues.
